US millionaire Tommy Allen is selling his newly constructed 174-foot superyacht, Five Oceans, without having set foot on board. Initially designed for a three-year oceanic research mission, the yacht felt cramped for Allen and his family. He is now offering it for $36 million, having taken $2 million off the original price. The yacht boasts features ideal for exploration and sustainability, including a 15-ton crane for tenders and submersibles, and a reduced emissions design. Allen plans to upgrade to a larger 197-foot vessel with 2.5 times the volume. Currently docked in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, France, Five Oceans awaits its new owner.
